Myself and a number of friends in the military have bb storms and although the current GPS mapping apps are great, I was wondering if anyone knew of or could create a app that used the MGRS, Military Grid Reference System. If so we all would be willing to pay for the app, considering a hand held garmin or etrex uses the same method to track way points and paths and generally goes for about $100 a piece, I would be willing to pay more the $2.99 for the app

Not MGRS, but Trimble Outdoors for Blackberrry has an UTM selection, which is what MGRS is based off of.

it does not work. most leters in the alpha field for MGRS change to something else when you try to save a way point. looks like a conversion problem.
