You could use a generic picture. Just make sure they are in your contacts, add whatever pic you like for them, then in bbm under their profile choose to use their blackberry contacts image.
I have all my contacts in my messenger right.
Most of them have their pictures with their name.
Say you are in my contact list and I want to remove your pictures so nothing shows up.
How do I do this?
I'm just going to go out an say this clear:
I don't want my girlfriend to see some girls I have added to my messenger.
Just change their name in the messenger but the picture I need to remove.
You need to actually create a contact for those girls in your address book. For
example:
If you have "Tina" as a BBM buddy, create a contact for her in your address book.
Now that Tina has a contact in your address book, select her in BBM, hit menu
and select "Link to blackberry contact" and link Tina to the address book contact
you just created.
Now this is where what edavies19 recommendation comes into play. On Tina's
address book contact, use whatever photo you'd like. Now go to her BBM profile
and check the "Use caller ID" option so now her BBM pic is whatever you set her
address book contact to.
