I have a data package but no message. When I get email, in shows up as email and message. If I click message, will they charge me for a message?

    Thank you

I think he means the icons.

On a blackberry, you have a combined Messages icon, that shows all messages you get and separated icons for SMS&MMS and emails (one for each you register).

You can set it up either to show or combine or the icons.

So no, you won't be charged because that's not a SMS/MMS.

    +1 Bingo...

but to the OP, if you did receive a SMS/MMS (Text message) it wouldn't matter if you opened it or not. If you receive a text message, you're charged for that text regardless if you open it or not.
