Hi. Somewhat new BB user here. Is there a way to set up your BB to notify repeatedly when you have a text message or voice mail? (outside of the flashing LED) I'm looking for a SOUND notification, not visual. Like a beep that goes off every few minutes until the message is retrieved. I see under Profiles there's an option for Repeat Notification- but the only option is LED Flashing or None.

i thought there was a option to remind with a sound. Im sure someone will post the exact location.

Take a look at the 3rd party app BlackBerry Alerts. It is fully customizable to provide whatever alerts you want for whatever type of message you want it for.

go to your profiles and then advanced and there you go.

Reminder alerts are available through 3rd party apps.

BBAlerts or Berry Buzz which is what I have and less $$$ than BBAlerts. Less problems too.
