I was wondering if I could free up some memory space by deleting Korean Characters and Font Support, Simplified Chinese Characters and Font Support, and Traditional Chinese Characters and Font Support? It is probably a dumb question, but do I need these on my BB?

Yea if you delete all the languages you don't need, you will be saving significant memory space...

You could also remove any applications you dont use too, but getting rid of any unused languages would be the first thing to do.

If you use the Setup Wizard, one of the steps is to delete Language packages that are not required. Those can go.

There are a couple ways to do it, the simplest is using Options / Advanced Options / Applications. Delete and let it restart when you are prompted.

There is a better way. Use Application Loader from your support computer. It is available for both Windows and, as of tomorrow, Macintosh computers.

Application Loader lets you fine tune the OS software and can free up a lot of memory space.

What about getting rid of the password keeper app? I don't use it. Will it free up space?

If you don't use it, kill it. You should check out Shrink-A-Os. It's a program designed to help you remove all the apps you don't need. I cleared out about 20MB of junk, including the sample video, pics, games and VAD.

Shrink-a-os, maxmem both good programs. Blackberry swiss army knife (bbsak) is a good app for deleting specific .cod files the other two don't address.
