Last night I was messing around with some things on my 8830. I went to a website and tried to listen to an mp3. I didnt save it. It gave me the option to open or save and I chose to open. It was a large file, over 4000kb, but i didn't save it to my device I didnt think. It is now eating my memory and I cant find it to delete it. Please help as its obviously dumping all my messages and call logs. A couple of weeks ago I finally freed up about 5000000 bytes and now this. Thanks

The difference between "saving" and "opening" is the final destination for the file.

In order to Open the file, a copy has to be stored, temporary in your device. If you don't save it, it will stay in the temporary work space until the system is restarted or runs it low memory recovery.

A battery pull should free up that memory.
