    Hey guys,

I have the following problem that keeps coming up. Since the music app has no ability to show songs by album (given that the album has multiple artists), I try to circumvent this issue by using playlists. The problem is that the music application randomly decides to stop playing certain playlists and gives the "the media file is missing" error. If I try to play the song via the library or the file explorer all works well.

I use the m4a format for music, and m3u format for the playlists.

    Many thanks in advance

Restart doesn't help unfortunately. Any other ideas?

Did a song from your list get deleted?

I used to get this all the time. OS 10.3.1 has definitely helped but I have to restart my phone every time this happens. Very annoying

I had this problem on my Z30 after I installed the 10.3 leak. I couldn't play anything of my media card. I reformatted the memory card and I was fine after that

Me too, but I reinstalled the leak on the Z30 instead of formatting the SD card, and that fixed the problem for me.

Sounds again like one of those annoying BB OS problems. I hope someone from BB is reading this. I hope they'll give you the option to sort music library by album and also fix this issues with playlists.

I tried unsuccessfully several things until now: restart phone, battery pull (ended up only messing up hub, sucked up 50% of battery until all ok again), card out and back in, card in mass storage mode and back, deleted and rebuilt m3u files.

If anyone gets any new ideas, I would greatly appreciated. If not, I guess I'll just wait until 10.3.1 is out and do a clean wipe on the new OS.

    Many thanks
