iv just got a blackberry curv to use as a spare phone for when i send my torch to get repaired and its sayin that my memory card can not be accessed due to fatel errors but the memory card works in my torch can any one help out with this on?

Which Curve? Which Torch? What OS versions?
Is it possible you are trying to use a memory card that is too large for the Curve?

If the size of the card is actually correct for the device, you may try reformatting it in the Curve after you make a mirror of your data on your PC

curv 8520 and its on the 5.0 bundle 1168
torch 9800 thats on the latest one as i updated that the other day n its only a 4 gb memory card so its not that big

my friends 9700 had this issue and he had to replace the card reader, which was included with a new midplate. i think its a hardware issue with the reader, not the card. can the card be read in other devices just fine? that would rule it out.
