My girlfriend recently got a BB Tour and she somehow got hacked into her computer...because this is attached to the phone can they hack into your BB as well? I only ask this cuz I get crap mail sometimes and sometimes I don't even realize it until after I open it...I would never open it if I were on my computer...but I was just wondering if they can get into anything threw the BB also...Thanks for any answers

I suppose it's possible but you have a better chance of getting hit by a bus.

I've never heard of an instance where a blackberry was hacked. I think that is why they are the device of chiocr by the FBI nsa and other government agencies. Not to mention the thousands of major corporations that rely on BB security.

Connected to your computer a hacker can only get access to your files (pictures, music etc.) But no have acess to emails & stored passwords. That would require a small app to store blackberry information after being disconnected that must be saved onto your blackberry.

The complication in that application plus its need to be programmed in java no hacker or programmer would waste the time unless you were a target for a reason ie: celebrity or politician
