Do the phones that all of the corporations are currently testing have the map app on it?
Just wondering if there will be a thorough testing of it so there is no Apple suprise.

RIM is not producing their own mapping solution like the failed apple apps. Their maps are powered by TomTom. (I think!, someone tell me if I'm wrong)

blackberry have their own maps, but their navigation is definitely tomtom powered and better then the blackberry maps.

remains to be seen as to whether they incorporate the navigation with maps and get rid of the old crappy version.

the navigation is quite good. i have no need for google maps now

I'm remembering now that RIM has a deal with Microsoft to use Bing maps and default search.
