Is it worth having someone detail all the steps to make the Titan "safe" given many of the worries that have been stated? Perhaps a user guide?

Ok then we got it. So if we follow this and aren't bothered by the physicality of this phone, can we recommend it?

I would never go so far as to recommend it, but if one is up to challenge, then go for it - as I think the security risks can be managed with a bit of know how.

Does your thread outline all of these?

And would the Titan work on Verizon?

Just prevent connections to the adups process and the wireless updates app.

There is no reason the Titan shouldn't work using a non-CDMA provisioned SIM.

Blokada is perfect for trackers, but can't block individual apps from making other connections.

Understood, but I should've been clearer: what about installing Blokada in addition to Netguard?

It would be redundant even if you could. But you can't.

The Netguard obtained directly (not via Play Store) has full tracker blocking.

OK, thanks for clarifying. I was sure I read previous threads where you suggested both.

Both apps use the Android VPN service... and it can only be used by one.

Also limited to only a few actual VPN services, if you use one or the other.
