Yeah that's pretty clever. Even if they change to a 3 row keyboard that would be fine. They could then have way more room for a normal ratio screen. And you won't have the complaints of legacy transitioners.

I wish the whole keyboard was touch responsive.
Swiping back, from right to left, to delete on my Z10 is awesome, and I wish I could do that on my Q10.
The spacebar on the Windermere unit looks wayyyyy too small. That keyboard (and the device in general) just looks terrible, in my opinion, though I hope it's just for testing, maybe trying out the technology on a smaller, cramped, ugly keyboard?
One problem I could see with the spacebar being a trackpad would be... what if it malfunctions as a trackpad (which many people had issues with), and it affects the function of the spacebar. At least on old devices with touch screens (99xx, 9810), if the trackpad failed, one could still use the spacebar and type.
I actually thought so too. It does make sense!
