Many people have asked about the differences between these devices. Obviously there is size, a few hardware changes, and a couple of extra features built in to the z30.

The video shows how long they take to open start up, and web pages and a few apps. Let me know if you would like to see anything else.

Interesting video. Seems like the Z30 is only faster in initial start up and running games. Other than that there is no significant speed difference to go gah gah over lol I will still probably get the Z30

Interesting. I do not understand how 200mhz can make such a huge difference in startup! Take a look at that one also

P.s. I am not the video owner..

Thanks for the video. It is a good comparison vid between the two Z's. I'm still on the fence about getting one. It's just going to cost me so much to upgrade from my Z10. Maybe Santa will bring me one.

I'm on the fence too. No brainer for a Q or BBOS user, but for a Z10 user? Looks like startup and games load up much faster, but a simple app or browser isn't that much faster. Maybe a few seconds. I think I can live with my z10....unless Santa brings me one too.

True. I was on the same wifi to make it fair. I think the z30 might have a slight edge if I was in an area where I could benefit from Rogers LTE 2600 range. The z30 browser should be quicker as apposed to the same.

The only thing I prefer able the z30 is better speakers and battery. Z10 speakers are really bad. Like, if I am trying to show someone a YouTube video, they can't watch it because they have to hold it so close to their ear to hear it.

But, I don't think I like the size of the z30 as much.

    Thanks for the video.

It's not just 200mhz, it's different processor architecture. The z10 uses an msm8960 the z30 uses an 8960t pro with a quad core gpu.

Both phones were running the same version. The latest official Rogers version.

I am with this fella here, I was really hoping to see you play the game for a few seconds on each device, but then you closed the game.
I think if you take a few minutes to edit the video before posting, it would be really helpful as well, cutting the video length is a big factor. You can just use windows move maker, it works wonders. You can also just keep retrying the tests when you miss, like some of the tests you attempted. I see this was somewhat of a quick video but having both devices side by side is a big benefit you should not just pass.

Thanks for the video, looking forward to seeing more.

Just imagine how the Z30 would have performed if it had snapdragon 800 processor on it?, it would have screwed all other flagships out there too.
