Mac Mail and BB push update

Hello,

I'm new to Blackberry and I've noticed that when I compose a message on my mac using mail, my BB downloads the draft every 5 seconds (I've had up to 21 copies of the draft on my BB before I even sent the message.) Is there any way to either stop my BB from downloading the messages I send from my email account, or something to prevent it from updating and downloading drafts?
