I have a friend who wants to use his work wifi to watch m.youtube videos during lunch. It's not working for him, it just gives him an error. He can't change his work router's settings so what else can he do? Is there an app that uses wifi that gets around this? Or maybe another browser that uses wifi?
He doesn't have data beyond the bbm/email plan so he can't use 3G or EDGE.
search the forums for 'optimize youtube'. the first result will help you. once you optimize, try it again. it worked great for me until i upgraded my OS and now m.youtube.com will only work with wifi off. strange but i cant figure out a way around it.
if that doesn't suffice, search in app world for xenozu youtube player. sucks balls but its the only real way of getting youtube other than m.youtube.com
