OKay so Im not sure how many forum topics they are for this but

I have lost my blackberry, I did not install any of those "find my blackberry" softwares to my phone before i lost it

is there anyway to still track it without using those apps? like each BB has a unqiue pin of course, so there has to be a program that can track it by entering the pin for the BB right?

pleasee someone out there who knows the answer can help!

Sorry Fez, but unless you had one of the "LoJack" type tracking apps on your phone before it was lost, there is no way to "locate" the phone after the fact.

If you could "Ping" your pin, about all you would do is well "Ping it". So pretty much calling it every few mins, while retracing your steps, is really about it. At least until the battery dies. I have found a couple of my older phones doing just that.

Most of the locate your phone apps are mostly about protecting your contacts and information stored on the phone, rather than actually finding it. They do allow you to wipe the info or lock the phone, but "finding it", which some do via a web site (as far as I know, none of these are free apps or free services). but even with GPS tracking, the best you can do if find the general area the phone is in. And once the SIM card has been switched out, you tend to lose the ability to even call the phone to make it ring.

Granted many of the tracking apps, allow you to force the phone to make noise even if put on silent, the chances of finding it, once someone picks it up is really going to be slim, especially if the phone is on the move. And once the phone has been wiped, no chance of finding it.

yeah its dead, i i tried calling it so i just cancel my phone sighh, thanks for the help..i think in the near future i will make a program that can find it like those crappy "I lost my iphones" aps, but there has to be a way to use your PIN to find it since it is a unqiue value

OK guys I was just talking to a friend and he said there are a few companys that can track the phone by its PIN.. but that it would be alot of money..A few hundred the same as the phone

My friend he has a job that pays him to much. He thinks the country should stop taking adurel .He really want's to know why commericals are even made anymore? He thinks that you should be a good person until someone pisses you off ...

He says if he was you then he would be pissed off.. He thinks you should do the following things..



1... Go online and see wht the last number that was dialed out of that phone?....................



2. Call wht ever carrier you use and Don't tell them the phone was stolen just yet.. ask if they can tell when the last time it was used?.....If the can they say can you tell me the last number that was called ' if your luckey you get it' say thats right my neiborgs hose then just hang up dont answer anything



3. IMPORTANT>>>>> Go onto craigslist NOW in the town where you live...Its the bst place to get rid of a stolen phone.

look under cell phones see if your phone is listed in any of the ads..You might have a chip on it some where. You know so you know it's your phone..


If you find your phone then send them a very very sweet message. Dont evevn let them know you are the owner. Tell them that you really need the phone you are going out of the counrty the next day and have to have one.... If they want 140 tell them you will give them 200 if they meet in public with in the hour......If your really lucky then they might give you a number to call them back on 'your number'

At this point go tell the police and make sure you tell them it was CRAIGSLIST they will all jump to help you......One cop just found 400 bras and made the news.....

If you get the help you need then you just might be back on this site in the next few hours to update......


IN CASE NOT BLAN B............ need to set up a free email account or 20 my friend said then you need to go into your desktop and have those emails to go to your desk top and phone 'nobody you know will emil you' after you are done that

Then you go to those email accounts to send out a message's every min to that/those emails you set up........**** them off.OMG that is funny 'my friend has way to much time to think'
after you have that....Those little email just might be able to tell you where your phone is'' HOW do you ask?

it is free for the 1st 25 emails so use them wise. The site will tell you where it is being opened 'town/state/zip' it will also tell you what IP address you opened it with.. No good for you since they can onlyuse your phone to get the messages..


This could tell you if you are close to your phone..zip,city,state

Cute, but i'm sorry, there are no companies that can track your phone by your pin. He is full of ****. If there are, get names. Because the only actual tracking info for your phone would be ESN/MEID using e911 gps for 911 systems. This isn't expensive, it just requires a court order. Good Luck.

From wht I have been told and I like to say that the people I asked know wht there talking about or at lease have a few sources. ' I don't understand all the hi tech stuff but I know that.......... When i lost a family member and her daughter took it very hard that she would never call home or anything..
