[CrackBerry Question]

My old Bold, which my wife loves just got stuck in a reboot loop (again). Went to reinstall the OS and restore from backup but App Loader says I don't have any software to install. It must have auto-deleted after my last install or something. Easy fix... I thought. Went to T-Mobile.com to find a fresh copy, which sent me to Blackberry.com, which sent me to an "update" page which only works if my Bold is connected to my computer (and actually running, which it isn't). Keep scouring the site but can't find a direct link to download and install the OS on my PC so App Loader can put it on my phone. Would download it from somewhere else, or grab the AT&T version I DID find at Blackberry.com but would T-Mo's wifi calling still work if I don't download a T-Mobile approved version?

I don't know if the wi-fi calling will still work. Perhaps if the Bell Mobility gets your 9700 working, then you can download the T-Mo OS.

Will try it and see. If nothing else, maybe it's time the wife inherits my Q10 so I can step up to a PRIV.

After digging around on my hard drive, I finally found the official T-Mobile OS 6 update I had downloaded a while back. Installed that and got the phone back up and running (with wi-fi calling). So far, so good. But I did download OS 5 anyway, in case we want to downgrade. Thanks for the link!
