I did have 2 of each the 9900 and the Z30, but if I did go through 2 pearls, it was because of warranty replacement.

The 7100i Nextel was also my first and favorite one because I traveled the world with it and it always worked. Even when no ones device worked while I was in Russia, my 7100i always delivered my email and messaging on time.

If you don't have a Legacy Device in your Top 3...you missed out on a great era in smart phones, but that's just an opinion obviously. I listed my Top 3 based on my faves and capability at the time, etc which is why I had a BBOS, BB10, and BB with Android.

In chronological order...
1. The 9780. That thing took a lot of abuse but just kept on going. I did initially have the double-typing problem. I think the 9780 was the first BB to have that widespread issue, but I got a replacement that worked fine.

2. Q10. It's the only BB I still own. I haven't used it in quite a while, and it is infected with double-typing, but on the whole it was, and is, a great phone. I have a replacement keyboard for it, but haven't tried to install it, having moved on.

3. Passport (OG). Nothing else quite like it.

I hope to get a DTek60 at some point fairly soon, but my OnePlus One is still chugging along, so I can't really justify the expenditure right now. Maybe when they get discounted in a few months.

(1) 9860 (2) 9900 (3) z10 with 10.3.2 (would love to have 9982). not like passport for its shape... not like Z30 for its color (a bit too saturated), not like 9983 for its weight (a bit too heavy).. rest are not truly have the BB design feel for me. (either the keyboard got different touch and feel, or corner of the handset is too square.. etc. etc. or the droid software just still not BB enough).

1. 9550 (Storm 2) - best memories with this phone, also my first BlackBerry and smartphone
2. Q10 - My favorite BB10 device
3. Z10 - Good and bad memories were had with this phone and my first step back to BlackBerry after a short haitus.


9900 is an honorable mention for sheer kickassery.

Sorry, but other than the first month with the phone, the Passport was forgettable for me.

Love the passport as well but it's a bit big and clunky
