Hi I have been trying to find a solid answer to this by reading through the forums but have not. I really want to download the leaked 10.3 but I have read that it is not good as a daily driver. I have also read that I can install various missing bars to solve these issues. Do the added bars solve all the issues. I would simply like to know what is missing from the os and what unables it from being a daily driver. Just a simple list of all the things that do not work properly. Thank you all.

Take a read in some of the threads in the leaks section. A ton of info so you can make a decision if you can use it daily on your phone

I would think that my definition compared to yours of using it daily would be different. For me the .700 with bars overtop is fine and I use it. I can live with it

Here's all the updated bars from. 442 that are confirmed working on. 296.

And while i agree with Habs... it's not quite as stable as 10.3.0.296 with the 442 package.
If you're not real comfortable with using leaks or dealing with some unstableness... I'd suggest going with .296.

or try .700. You can always downgrade if you want!!

I've been running 10.3.0.296 with these updated bar files on my Z10 since the day it was released.
Runs great!!

The Intelligent Assistant app doesn't work and i sideloaded an older clock app for the Porsche clock
Camera works great.

Make sure you have the latest version of Sachesi.

Be sure to back up your device with BB Link before you do anything.
If you have any problems, I can get you through it!

Of course, you'll get all kinds of negative replies from people that have issues but offer no help.
I suggest you stick with those replies from people that don't have any issues.

Thank you for this detailed reply. Does the video calling feature on bbm work for you. I read some people had issues with that. And yes I realize that it depends on the user as to what they consider a daily driver thats why with a list of all the limitations I could make up my mind.

10.3.0.296 is insanely stable , everything works except for file manager connecting with link and the voice universal search but the typing works fine.

No idea what above is saying but intelligent assistant does work except for voice and the clock works perfectly

To be safe only upgrade runtime browser and bbm frpm. 700

Yes they werr disabled on purpose but nothing is disabled in 296

I've experienced one problem that apparently no one else has yet seen:

Well, as you can see, there ARE various problems but nothing too drastic.
Annoying??? It's a Leak for Devs (developers)

It's only because of the .442 package that makes it worth using as a daily!
As with the other posters, I can't say weather the NFC or the BBM video calling works or not. I don't use them.
Also, should have said the intelligent assistant DOES work except for the voice (as KHEHL pointed out)
File Manager should work fine with link unless you have "usb mass storage turned on." Turn it off!!
The clock works fine. I just wanted the Porsche. That's why I changed it.

All in All, knowing what we've all replied with... if you can live with these few glitches...

10.3.0.296 is awesome. Give it a go. You can always go back to another OS.
and BTW: Do Not bother doing a security wipe. It's totally unnecessary.

nah, not sure where people are getting their info from. voice search is just hit and miss and that's literally it. It's a 100% working OS
