Letter doubling issue was fixed few months ago, with one of the latest updates. It seems now I have again this issue.

In some cases it is a hardware issue. No software update ever fixed it in barely used, well cared for Q10.

I must be lucky as I've never experienced the double typing on my Q10.

I use a Q10 for almost 3 year. In the early 3 month I have the double texting problem. But after several month later the problem dissappear. Don't get it repair. You must use it more. Do typing more. It will automatically fix.

I noticed it on my Passport for a while last year. It went away with one of the later builds of 10.3.2 however it has started happening again randomly the last week or two. Pretty frustrating.

I had it BAD on my 9780 but one of the software updates killed it. I even went so far as to buy an extra "Keyboard membrane" off Ebay that is the paper layer that sits under the keys and was going to change it out, but never needed it.

I have a Passport also. It must be software. I bought it new and everything went good for a while, until I made an OS update and the issue popped up. It was fixed with the latest OS update, but now it seems to be back again, and it's pretty frustrating.

Wow, I thought I was the only one with this double typing problem coming back on my Passport.

I also use a Q5 and I've noticed that I've got the opposite problem. When I'm typing a word with two of the same letters together like moon, soon, and so on, I find that it ends up being mon, and son instead.

It may be just me typing incorrectly, but I'm quite a pro at texting since I've been using BlackBerry since many years now and I rarely make mistakes. But these particular mistakes keep coming up recently where a double letter only comes up as a single letter.

Happens here and there for me. Annoying but I can live with it. Seems to mostly happen with the E key.
