If they were indeed true would you be upset if the Google Play store was only supported by the next generation phone? Meaning that any current BB10 phone wouldn't run the newer version and you had to get an upgrade (to whatever the next device is)?

Not trying to debate if it will happen or not. Just wondering if you would be ticked that BB didn't make it backwards compatible. I personally wouldn't be bothered. I've upgraded to every new device with the exception of the 9700 series. So for me I would likely end up buying it regardless. That and I also believe they need to make money off of handset sales. Continuing to upgrade the OS is great but it doesn't really put much money in their pockets.

In short I would be OK if I had to upgrade my z30 to whatever the next device is. How about you?

Hard to pretend something is correct when it's been disproven. But just to play along, if I had to upgrade my Blackberry just to use Android apps, I'd likely be upgrading to an Android device.
