I'm very excited and curious to see how many of the fellow crackberries still rock a slick legacy device.
Post 'em, and lets show 'em why legacy device is still the real deal.:nerd::cool:

That's fine to do, but I toned down the title a couple notches.
Is that it? no love for oldberry?:broken-heart:
You will find a lot of legacy devices in enterprise. Also in emerging markets. And there are some fans in the forum.
But legacy is not that we'll loved outside of those instances.
Global marketshare will illustrate that quite readily.

i guess you are right. i'm not an enterprise customer, i was always with legacy by choice, and wanted to see how many people share the same interest. nevermind :)
Hi I still use Bold 9900 as my main phone, it's the keyboard / track pad /call/ end call buttons and battery life,
it just works and no problems and still looks good, I have a Z30 but a sort of playbook replacement
Personally to big as a phone, only question is replace it with a new one or wait for Q20/ classic?,
Hi winston101 if I were you I would go with the q20 because you said you like the keyboard the trackpad and so on

Thinking about getting a 9900, so bored with the z10, tired of waiting for a new blackberry phone to show up. Besides, z10 battery sucks, use z10 for work, and z30 not offered at att, and I'm due for a upgrade. So, kinda stuck. And no way would I pay full price for z30.

At work, 99% is legacy device, because they still support UMA, rogers are too stubborn (not sure how to write that word) and they just don't want to support wifi calling on bb10... which suck. Me and the financial consultant are both using a bb10 device, me a q10 and him a z10.
Classic. it'll be just like bold, but with BB10
haha, you sure should get a 9900. it's a feature rich smartphone, that still packs a punch
No wonder legacy devices are called work oriented devices. i use my curve 9220 for mails, just love the way they pop up and just works. i want greater processing power and battery. maybe 9900 is my next stop
9900.
Does whatever I need to do with speed, panache, & efficiency.

i still use my torch 9800. just love the keyboard. great for writing mails and messages
Still using my 9700! With quicklaunch, I can do everything with at most two keypresses. It is fast & efficient. Browser sucks though. If the Classic offers all of the conveniences & retains the magic of Blackberry, I'll be purchasing it. In the meantime, I'm still loving my 9700. And what amazing battery life!
9900
For work.
I've used BlackBerries since 2008. Legacy devices are still very good at text based communications, but at this point they are a one trick pony when viewed in context of the modern smartphone landscape.

One BB9900 for work, one BB9900 for personal and one Playbook for internet, books, videos.
How long does the battery lasts on heavy use? is web browser good?
I just purchased a curve 9360.
I can't tell you about my experience really yet, it hasn't arrived. I will when it does most likely.
But I wanted a fully smart phone without touch, one that would sit in my pocket, not break, be a phone. I have a 7 inch android tablet, its portable and convienient and not squinty, so I really didn't want another touch phone at all.
I wanted hard keys, and all the _ability_, without the huge size and fragility. Orphan blacks use of blackberries is part of what inspired me, as well as a very long in depth search for a phone with the things I wanted - this was literally the only phone that met my tick list.
As such bb7.1 was the key to meeting my needs. The sole nexus between the time when phones where phones, and the current temporary flux of oversized all touch phones, that is now starting to wane due to the rise of tablets, the influx of cheap chinese models and to a lesser degree the mere saturation of the devices, making it kind of comfortist to have such a device, rather than hip like it used to be.
i lol'd:rotfl:
You're right... this device is awesome. They need to make one exactly like this, but with BB10 on it. That and a new Bold, which is what the new Q20/BlackBerry Classic sound like.

i really wanted them to carry on Curve, Bold, Torch, Style and Storm names.
Z10,Z30,Q10, etc may get messed up with next Blackberry11(or something else) series
Have a Curve for work, and Z10 for personal use. The curve is horrible to use, and reading email attachments on it is nigh on impossible, so I get all my work emails on my Z10 and use the Curve as a back-up only in emergencies.
Used to have a Torch 9800 before I got my Z10. Loved that phone, but love the Zee even more, so no pining for Legacy devices from me, so no sound off here. No desire to go backwards, even with any 'Classic' that may come out.
Careful! Z10 in action!
Great thread sadly my primary phone is an Android one (for now), simple because I can't afford the sometimes annoying hard reboot with ~ 5 minutes to boot.
But I still love my Curve 9360 it does everything I need, it is fully macroed and all the important options, apps are at max 2 clicks away :) <3 my little curve although in terms of raw power and battery life and build quality it can compete with the 9900 so hopefully the classic will be the answer and my primary and secondary phone !
Still have my Bold 9900 with me, I use it and love it. It's not entertainment geared but it's pretty useful as a communication device.

Great choice it's by far the best phone blackberry has ever made, perfect size and the keyboard is a breeze to type on. I still find it hard to believe that they never updated this beauty
I'm still using a Torch 9810, love the phone and the Bridge funtionality with my PlayBook. It also has the advantage of using BIS to help keep my data usage down.
