Is it possible to launch Chrome sideloaded Playbook apps from Playbook itself instead of having to have it connected to the laptop? TIA Doogan.

You should try and post in the android sideloading section.

You cant install bar files directly on the playbook if its on the latest version.

What you can do is set up a proxy server and use localbar2. You set the proxy on your computer, another BB or an android phone.

That or you can use chrome manager wireless I think. Just enter your wireless dev address and it should work without the wires.

Thanks for reply - I'll post in the correct section next time. I'm new to this and what I meant to ask was: can I launch from the Playbook? I guess the answer is No. Doogan.

If you have installed a BAR file using the Chrome plug in to your Playbook, yes - you can launch it from the Playbook itself. The App icon should appear alongside the rest of your apps if installed correctly.
