is there"messages" vs "notifications"

is there anyway to make it so that only user "messages" would appear ...

and not for any "notifications" - I'll glance at them once of facebook as they usually require more investigation anyway... (and I get to many of them...)

I could not find it in options... missed it?

Not that I have seen. Notifications include messages, don't think you can separate them. What you can do is disable notifications in BB facebook, and set your messages to EMAIL notification. You won't get stuff pushed through the BB facebook app, but you will get an email on your BB that includes the facebook message.

No, he wants to only be notified of facebook messages (facebook personal mail), not wall posts and all the other stuff.

Ok, I understand what you are asking now. Had to read it a few times.

You prefer to receive E-Mail alerts but not Facebook notifications, all from Facebook, I am guessing.

Open Facebook on your device, go to Options and turn ON Blackberry Messages application.

Scroll down to Facebook Notifications and UNCHECK that. Save and close.

great now I can control _EXACTLY what notifications I get - gratned via email - but that's better then just EVERYTHING...
