I don't get why it is so difficult for RIM to come out with language packs that users can easily download and install onto their BBs. I know software programs like Skype have licenses and all that economic stuff but not being able to add languages to your BB as easily as downloading an app from the App Store boggles my mind.

I'm kind of venting because I'm trying to get Japanese input up and running on my BB but haven't found an easy solution as of yet. Thought I could just go to languages and add it just like adding language support on my computer.

There just has to be an easier solution then having to find and download an OS from another carrier.

Anyone else out there in the same situation?
