Hmm, so wonder what the difference is between Laguna/Lisbon and London? Radio type?
id imagine london is a dev alpha a spec device, laguna/lisbon would be a dev alpha b spec device. that would also account for the dual names for laguna/lisbon as would allow a cdma and gsm variant possibly? the dev alpha a was one single radio style for all devices, so singular name would make sense.
I can't get over how much potential screen real estate gets eaten up by the Blackberry logo on the bottom :/ Could've added another 1/2" or so without adding to the overall size of the device..

The blackberry logo is on top of the bezel. You need enough space for the bezel to be easy to use. I highly doubt that they would increase the screen size if they didn't have the logo there

It is more likely that dev alpha b is basically the same spec as London and that Laguna and Lisbon are the two LTE variants and would thus be the same spec except for the use of an S4 chip.
Why does the BB10 device look larger and yet it has less screen realestate in comparison, too much wasted space.
The screen on the BB10 device is bigger than the iPhone.
This screen shot shows black lines on the top and bottom with white icons that give the illusion of a smaller screen. Look closer.
Thats exactly what I was thinking, Apples really got to step it up from both a hardware AND software point if they want to compete with samsung, or we'll be looking at the next RIM or Nokia in a couple of years

Adding screen real state with the same phone size would mess up the aspect ratio (15:9)
That is an insane amount of wasted space on the BB screen. The phone is quite a bit larger than the iPhone, yet from top to bottom I think the BB screen's usable space is the same size if not even a bit smaller than the iPhone. Good work BB...keeping up your reputation as a clueless mobile phone manufacturer.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Do you even know where the bezel on that pic starts? Bb10 is all about bezel gestures, if there isn't enough space then there will be major problems. The actual screen size of the bb10 is larger then the i5. Maybe you don't realize where the bb10 screen starts and ends?
I like both. I actually love the iPhone 5's screen size. It is nice to hold. I however would like the slightly bigger screen on the L series. I don't consider Apple's design to be dated at all. Why is everyone so polarized and believe they have to love one and hate the other? Seems childish to me.
