My friend has a Curve 8330 and I have the Curve 8530.

His has the 'old' style OS version and mine the newest.

I do like my version better in pretty much every way..except one. His version has the home-screen icons in an L shape, while mine are just along the bottom. He said that on his it was an option to make his that way or not...but for mine I can't find it anywhere in my options.

Any help as to how to make my version have the 'L', or is it even possible? Or is there an app theme to make the new version that way?

    Thanks CrackBerry ^^

Look through themes. I have an 'L' theme currently - if AppleBerry works for 85xx then get it - I WISH it would work on my 9000 - bleh.

You would need to find a Precision 'L' theme for your new Curve. This will solve your dilemma, while giving you the clean new icons.

    Here's an example.
