Kmart stores hit by malware, leaving credit card data exposed

Can Blackberry get involved/ have solutions in this area? Credit cards, etc.

Stories like this popping up left and right lately. Seems like an opportunity.

The best solution is for Kmart not to ever have the credit card numbers to lose in the first place.

Apple Pay and whatever else comes along later is the best recourse for the consumer. It's not about NFC but about tokenization where the retailer never gets your credit card number.

Kmart still exists? I remember going to Kmart in Canada as a kid (Toronto) but haven't seen one in many years. Just as well I guess!

Glad I don't shop there. I have had to change cards twice in the last six months thanks to Target and Home Depot
