Just experienced the hugest random restart on my Z10. So I was on my phone on the Crackberry app just looking around the forums when the phone froze. Now this is common for me, it just freezes and I can't do anything with the screen, and I can't even lock it by pressing the button on the top of the device. Usually it would stay like that for around 5 minutes and restart by itself. So I just left it on my bedside table and went downstairs to watch TV. I was surprised that when I went back to my bedroom one and a half hours later, it was still frozen in the exact same position where I left it at! That's an impressive new low. I had to pull out my battery and wait for the 2 minutes it takes to boot up. Which means, in total, my phone technically took nearly 2 hours to restart. When it finally started up, it was even slower than usual and I experienced a lot of lag. Fortunately, this didn't stick for that long.

I've been having these performance problems for a long time already, including some bizarre glitches such as not being able to connect to wi-fi or my computer. So what does this mean? Is my phone really a defect, as I've been thinking for a while? Or is my year old phone already deteriorating and I should get a new one? Some advice would be appreciated, I'm worried about my BlackBerry

You have put up with that crap for over a year? Sounds like a hardware issue even though some have the same issues with the update.

My Z10 works great. Sucks that you are having problems. My wife had a Samsung that gave her lots of problems. Luck of the draw I guess.

Sorry to hear this. I haven't had random reboots since the early software. It's just my battery life that annoys me with my Z10. I think u should see mayb what your carrier can do for u?

For what it is worth, I never had a reboot until. 10.2.1.2156 (tmob) update. One s few days ago. I pulled the phone our of the case and it was in the process of a restart. Tonight I used the flashlight and it decided to reboot.
