does the little bump on the number 5 key come off easily? I noticed that it seems like it might accidently get picked off if your finger nail gets stuck on it or is it on molded onto the key pretty solid?

No, it does not with normal or heavy use. You'd have to make the effort to get that
to come off.

Yup, its part of the key. you would have to pick it off really hard.

Just guessing, but I think the bump is just to let you feel which is the 5 key without having to look... Every phone I've had, including my cordless landline phones have it

It helps me to know where my keys are when I can't look at my phone. I know where everything is at in relation to the 5 key.
