Bb10 is not a device or a hardware. Bb10 is the name of the operating system for RIM's new mobile computing platforms. Bb10 does not have a virtual keyboard. The first released device running bb10 does.

Maybe I'm confused by your post but doesn't the operating system handle the virtual keyboard or are you just making the point that not all bb10 devices will have a virtual keyboard?

So please can someone help. I have BB9780. And have been due an upgrade for 6 months. I hate virtual keyboard and have not jumped for either 9790 or 9900 as the battery life is pants by. Comparison.so are handsets with BB10 going to have hard keyboards.

The battery life on the 9900 was much improved over numerous updates. However, there is a keyboard version of BB10.

In 6 months time, you should most likely to be able to see the N-series devices (keyboard)
