So question for you. I use my 8130 for social purposes and the problem I keep running into is how in the world can I keep my BB out of my friends hands? Seems every time I turn around my pearl is in somebody elses hand but my own. How can I stop this without commmiting a first degree felony?

How do they get access to it so easily? You leave it lying around?

The only person that touches my BB is my wife. And that's only for phone calls, and I dial it.

Seriously. No one touches my BB because they know how badly I'd ream them.

I would just password protect it and I'm pretty sure they'll lose interest or get the hint.

Put a password on it and when they ask what it is say "oh it's one of those new ones, it's finger-print-password-locked, as soon as my hands are off it it locks itself... Pretty annoying really" Worked for me...

    ..once...

...but I've only had to use it once...

Treat your BB/Phone like its your wallet. Would you let people casually browse through your wallet?

I password protect it and once they realize they can "touch" but not "play," they give it back after 10 secs.

    Works every time!

I let my family use my BB to make a call only. My family isn't jealous of my BB. Oh well.

Most of time I keep my lovely BlackBerry in my pocket, people had to ask me in order to see it or play with it.

No one should touch your phone without permission and if they are you should let them know that it is unacceptable. I would totally freak if someone touched my berry!
For some reason people always ask for permission before they touch it
