I'm not sure if it were based on the Kantar report, but my local NBC affiliate had a feature piece on the smartphone market last week. (Most if not all of it seemed to be based on network reporting.) What caught my eye was a graphic showing market share. BB wasn't even listed. There was Android, iOS, Windows, and then "Other."

That's pretty pathetic. And it has nothing to do with shorts or what have you.

Since I no longer root for BB7, and BB10 started at 0% in January, I would be surprised if BB10 overtook WP8 in a year. I really thought WP8 could be the best platform in the market, but MSFT just cannot handle it. It's unbelievable how clumsily managed it has been, nevermind slamming the door on WP7 users.
