Saw it twice now and both times (in Bethlehem.Pa USA) they said ZED 10. Haven't seen one yet with Z10-not saying there isn't though.

Hmm...I'm in Massachusetts. I remember it was in an American accent and said "zee". Maybe they're doing both? No clue

I swear on a stack of bibles. Sitting here in hotel in Phoenix, got food channel on in background surfing Crackberry and tv gets my attention. Z10 commercial. AWSOME. Says Z not Zed 10.

Why? Not trying to start anything, just want to know your reasoning for it.

For the same reason in the rest of the world they don't tune in to watch soccer when it is World Cup time, they watch football. If you advertise with words that are uncommon / un-natural it seems more an oddity than something you want to check out. And unlike the soccer/football reference, almost no one in the U.S. even recognizes the pronunciation "zed", it just isn't anything that is ever even spoken or heard. Most folks would be very confused. We have so many other Zx, or Zxxx, or Z-something products that Zee10 actually has a familiar and nice ring to it now (didn't like it at first personally)

Camaro Zee28, Datsun Fairlady Zee thru 280Zee through Nissan 370 Zee, La-Z-Boy (how could you say La-ZED-Boy on that one????), slew of products in all areas with EZ as an affinity for "Easy" - EZ-on, EZ-off, so many more examples . . . just that ZED is a complete unknown and sounds awkward to the American ear. Actually - I bet if it were tested, a lot of folks would think it was an old-school hick/hillbilly/red-neck man's name, OR some old biblical name!
