Hello all; I am new to smart phones ( never had one before...really) I have been looking at the z10. some important fetures to me are
1 A talk to text feature as I travel for buisness and this is my companies most preffered method of communication
2 Durability I put things through hell
    3 navigation
Does this phone have what I need?

    Imo yes it does.
But if you use it a lot in one day I would look into the Z30 or the Q10

If you travel a lot and intend to buy a Z10, do buy the battery and charger bundle as the Z10 battery may not last you more than half a day through heavy use. The Z30 will definitely carry you through the day. I don't have the Q10 but I think it can go through the whole day as well.

I would definitely recommend the Z30 because it's a much faster beast and does everything so much faster than the Z10.

The important part of your equation here is do you plan on doing a lot of writing? You sacrifice screen real estate for a keyboard with the Q but in return you don't have to watch your typing so closely once you really know the keyboard and can crank out words on the quick. Battery life, especially if you manage your sevice smartly (like keeping WiFi, bluetooth, NFC, and unnecessary services turned off) , you can get shy of two days straight with a lot of usage (at least I do.)

If on the other hand you want the big screen and are OK with typing on glass, then the Z30 is your boy, big screen with all the advantages that gives and a heck of a big battery.

    Good luck with your decision.

    1. Yes, there are apps for that
    2. Buy a very durable case
    3. There's a native map app or search more in the app world.

If you're gonna use the phone a lot for texting, I would recommend the Q10. I would also recommend buying the battery bundle to keep your phone up and running for a whole day.
