With the greatest of apologies to CrackBerry...

I dropped my Z10 a couple of times after I first got it. Mortified at the tiny dents in the top corners of my handheld beauty thanks to it bouncing on the tarmac (of course the screen survived - it's not a you know what!) I decided it was time for a case.

Being a member of this dysfunctional family of ours I went with the CB versions and, although it felt a bit heavier all was good - the phone bounced again a few times and was protected but it just didn't feel right.

Truth is, there's not enough BB10 owners out there, for all the reasons we know. Those of us that there are need to show off these things and help create whatever tiny buzz we can so by covering up the back all the questions I was asked about the phone stopped. I could have been using anything.

So, the other night I peeled away my BB case to reveal that BlackBerry logo (you know, the one that STILL has a certain amount of luxury feel and status symbol image in the minds of Joe Public DESPITE BB's best efforts) in all it's glory and let it shimmer in the light wherever I go. And a funny thing happened.

I got the new Z10 rush all over again.

I mean the thing just looks sleek and polished and feels SO GOOD in the hand (ahem!). And it is weighted perfectly, one handed or two handed!

I am, unfortunately, deeply in love with it all over again. It's a beautiful thing, a polished black slab of gorgeousness...

Oh, and the 'is that the new BlackBerry' questions have started again.

Mine is naked right now. Took it out of its case to put it into its custom car charging mount, ran my fingers across the battery door, now can't seem to make myself dress it again.

I feel so dirty.

I'm naked too. Sometimes I use the transform shell. I still use my leather pouch though. For protection.

I go naked at the house, but in the mean streets, I have to have some protection for my Z.

I wrapped mine in a dbrands carbon fiber skin and usually around the house I just sport that. When I'm out I use a clear/matte TPU case but with a little extra. See below

I had a hard time figuring out which case will work for me in the end I prefer naked but with a 3 year old you need to be prepared.

I definitely need a case, but I wish the Blackberry logo could still be prominently displayed. Like how on some Apple cases there is a hole at the back for the Apple logo.
