I have Verizon and I am currently using a Q10 with the 10.3.2.516 leaked release. Beautiful software with a lot of nice tweaks and additions. I am satisfied for the most part; however I am wanting a different device only because it's been about a year and of course that's been my cycle. Verizon supports the Z30 and the Classic. I have found that I can get them on ebay at a fairly reasonable price of $200 shipped for the Z30 and $325 shipped for the Classic. If you folks were in my shoes which one would you get?

You said you're itching for something different. Well, Classic is exactly the same as the Q10 just the tool belt makes the difference, so you won't really get the "something different" you are itching for if you get the classic.
Going for the z30 will give you more screen estate and onscreen keyboard. That's something different.

I'm own every BlackBerry 10 model to date and I'd pick the Classic over the Z30 just cause its not your regular smartphone chocolate bar slab...it also garners a lot more attention from the HemDroid and iSheep crowds, some good some bad

I agree with this. Even though my Classic is awesome and is my daily driver. If you want something different. I'd go with the still capable Z30 or the Passport. If you are able to, the slider would be also a different way to go ( if it gets released by Q4).

This will sound ridiculously fan-boy, but keep in mind - at a time when BB is struggling, if you buy a used device, they get nothing from the transaction. You can probably find a great deal somewhere online for a *new* VZW Z30, OR you could do a contract for a Z30 or Classic and get a new device and save the $$. And in both of those scenarios BlackBerry gets a sale on the books.

Just sayin'!

So I did it. I ordered the Z30 through Verizon on the edge program. Though the Verizon Z30 is $150 more than the ShopBlackBerry.com Z30, I wanted to stay with Verizon and I wanted a brand new phone. Didn't want a used one. I'm paying for it dearly, but know it will be worth it as my girl has the Z30 and still loves her phone.

And depending on your GB plan with Verizon, since you did it on Edge, you might not pay any more than the taxes for the device! Smart choice.
