Hello, New member here, my GF has z30 and she is with rogers, Her BBM just stops working and the blackberry symbol disappears from her phone, then it comes back on and all is working good, only really happens when she is at home, when she is out everything works fine. And another side issue she has is that her own phone number is not there under her own contacts? Does BBM work of WI FI? or through Data? Rogers says everything looks fine, its just very frustrating for her and me please help

Try to make her disable wifi when at home from her device. If it does work without wifi it could be something linked to that wifi connection..

Why would her phone number be in her contacts?
If she wants to see her phone number she can open the phone app and scroll all the way up

Bbm should work flawlessly without a SIM card. If the BlackBerry symbol is disappearing that means you are being disconnected from BlackBerry servers. Is this happening while connected to wifi or while using the mobile network? Sounds like you have a spotty signal.
Try running over wifi only and see if the problem persists.
