I currently have an iPhone 3G and I am looking at switching back to the Blackberry. I would like a Wi-Fi blackberry but I want a camera on it.
I guess I would have to sacrifice the Wi-Fi for now... but what model would you recommend??

Are you staying with AT&T? Their Curve has wifi, I believe. I switched from my iPhone 3g to a BB Curve on VZW; the Curve rocks, but no wifi on VZW

I'm a current iPhone user waiting for the Blackberry Bold to be released with AT&T so I can switch. It has a 2MP camera, 3G, Wi-Fi and built in GPS. If you must switch now, all my friends who have the Curve say it's great.
Right now with At&t, that combination is not possible. The 8320 with wifi should hit At&t soon and the BOLD should be out by October(knock on wood).
Or if you don't mind SureType, you could get the 8120 with WiFi.
My 0.02 is that I love my Curve 8320 with WiFi. I know my provider may not be your choice, but the WiFi curve is a sweet machine what ever company you go with. I know I am thinking about the Bold, but it needs to be pretty special to get me to change ;)

I don't have an upgrade available so I would have to pay full price when it is released. That might be pretty steep.
Would an unlocked 8320 work?

Curious.................what made you switch back?;):p
Ijust switched to a curve from iphone 3g myself, and I'm very glad I did. I just have the regular non-wifi curve and I'm completely happy with. My next upgrade will most likely be the javelin if it comes to ATT. One bit of advice... Once you get your BB get on the phone with ATT tech support and have them turn off the iphone features. It's a pain to do but is doable.

Welcome back!!
I still am not completely decided, because I really want the built in Wi-Fi and a camera. 3G doesnt really matter because I dont have 3g at my house or where I work. But the reasons I am thinking of switching is because of reception issues and some of the mail features dont "push" like the BB do.
Yes. I had an unlocked 8320 from t-mobile on the at&t network and it worked great.
Do you have 3g turned off? I understand you don't have it, but when on it is still searching for 3g. Try to disable it if you haven't done so (Settings --> General --> Network) and so if the reception improves.
I actually just sold my 1st Gen iPhone and I am back to Blackberry. I had my iPhone from March up untill saturday. I liked my iPhone but the email client is not as fast as the Blackberry, although close. Also, I had mine unlocked and jailbroken (Jailbroken is free 3rd party apps), and I just got tired of the apps. At first they were awesome, but after a while, its kind of boring. Went to Tmobile and purchased a Sunset Blackberry curve 8320, deffinately not looking back!
Thanks for the honesty.
My sister sold her iPhone and got a BB.
I asked her why and she said, "Hated It!"
Hopefully the BB 9500 Storm will have get media capabilities.
Just curious, are you using your iPhone for business use or personal? If for business then I would probably go blackbery for right now until apple really gets the iPhone ready for the business world, unless you want to stick it out and wait.
