Iotum Named "Cool Vendor" by Leading Analyst Firm

Vendors selected for the �Cool Vendor report� are innovative, impactful and intriguing

OTTAWA, April 20, 2007 � iotum, provider of �New Presence� and relevance-enabled voice services tailored to the needs of today's ultra-connected mobile professionals, said today it is extremely proud to be listed among "Cool Vendors" in the �Cool Vendors in Enterprise Communications, 2007,�1 report by Gartner, Inc.

In an overview, the authors of the report said: �The vendors in this report address two important areas that pose a challenge to communications planners. The first, network infrastructure, is costly to acquire and manage, but must provide enough scale and flexibility to support future needs. The second, emerging productivity-enhancing applications, make personal communication systems easier to manage and unlock the power of video to improve group interaction.�

The Gartner report had this advice for enterprise users: �Organizations can improve knowledge worker productivity by reducing �communications overload� with more automated presence management.�
