    I would say the sameway you would text to anybody. But that's just me thinking that texting is texting no mater where you are in the world

    You need an international texting plan.

    If the other person has a BlackBerry, you can use BlackBerry Messenger.

    No, I BBM to France and UK everyday and I don't get charges.

    For international SMS, type + and the country code and the number.

    BBM is BIS/BES data right? hence it would be considered as part of your BB plan....

    the prefix to get international call of 011 or 001 or 007 or 00 actually depends on country and carrier

    Currently the safest is the + sign followed by country..
