When traveling abroad, is there anyway to dial from the contact book? I currently have to manually enter the number with the international dialing code.

Have you gone in to your phone options and played with the smart dialing options?
you can enable the country code dialing from there.

If that doesnt work, you will have to edit the contacts you wish to internationally dial.

Yes, I do it all the time. Put a + in front of the number and then you can dial from the phone book. The + automatically enters the country's access code. So, the number in the address book should look like this +1-310-555-1212 (for US) or +44-207-xxxxxxx (for London).

    Good luck.
