A colleague of mine was promoted last year and has been entitled to a blackberry ever since his promotion.
Management offered him a brand new blackberry with minutes, long distance and a data plan ect... on many occasions and to this day he is saying no. He's the only one in his group that doesn't have one.
He himself has an Android and is intrigued by bb10 and has heard great things from everyone.
Take a guess why he refuses a new blackberry.

that one is too easy. The expectation. IF you get a BB you can do more work. email, phone calls, file edits, etc Even though you can do it with other phones, the perception of the BB is that if you have one, you want to work all the time.

He is does not know how to 'balance', can't 'multitask' , was told 'peeking' was bad manners, he needs to 'flow' with the times and get into the 'hub' of things.
Think reverse psychology advertising.

His answer: He did not want to be stuck with a BB7 for 3 years, knowing BB10 was coming!
Our BB10 roll out is in August. It's took the whole summer to set up bes 10, finalize the policies and perimeters and perform tests.
Now he'll be the first in his group to get a company issued Z! I think there will be a lot of "accidents" with the older models once the envy begins.
