here's an article i tripped over tonight about cell phone security
The pocket spy: Will your smartphone rat you out? - tech - 14 October 2009 - New Scientist
it got me thinking, how many of you guys use the encryption feature on your blackberry and use an app that allows you to remotely wipe your phone?
as of right now i don't do either but i am seriously considering one or both.

Encryption is on and I'm on BES, so remote wipe is possible as well. Also using a strong device password, so I feel pretty secure with my data.

I use both the encryption and smartguard for remote wipe/lock/GPS tracking.

Ditto, encryption is on and password count is very low.
