I'm having some trouble using my windows live account on my bb curve 8330.
When I first set up instant messenger on the device it worked fine. I recently tried using it again and every time I try to log on it says that my user name does not exist. The user name and password work fine on my pc so I know everything is set up ok. I have tried deleting my account and setting it up again and have had no luck. The strange thing is when I try to log on people that are using their computers actually say they can see me sign in but then I get the error message and can do nothing. Anybody got any ideas.

Have you tried uninstalling the app, and then redownloading and reinstalling?

make sure that if there are numbers in your password that u r using the alt key.

no numbers but I will try to remove the app and reinstall it. I figured that was the next step but was trying to avoid it.
