BlackBerry signs partnership that brings independent music to BlackBerry 10 | MobileSyrup.com

Missing from the group are all the unknown and unsigned artists. Today, a new partnership between BlackBerry and digital music distributor Zimbalam brings additional music to BlackBerry World, plus gives indies a new way to sell their music and also make some money. Apparently artists can choose their release dates and the territories they want to sell their music in, pay a small distribution fee, and begin selling their music. Artists remain free and independent and earn 90% of their royalties from sales.

As a producer myself, this sounds dope. I have never used Zimbalam myself, but it looks promising.
