I tried in vain to uninstall BB Link from our desktop computer a few weeks ago. Ever since then, we have had this annoying endless popup every 45 seconds on our computer which is a DOS screen that only today was I able to freeze it and see what it says. Attachment 212354
Every time I try to uninstall BB Link, I get an error message saying there is another installation process already happening.
Help, we are ready to throw this computer out the window!
What version of Windows?

Windows 7. I tried following the instructions from that link, however keep getting the error message that another installation is currently in progress. This happens even if we restart the computer.
Have you tried stopping all BlackBerry/RIM related services in Windows Task Manager before trying to uninstall?

I've just spent the past 24 hours blaming another software company for these annoying popups and, all along, it was Blackberry Link!!
Has anyone solved this yet? Have Blackberry been contacted?
I'll ask them I guess.
So annoying but, while scanning with Malware Bytes the windows froze long enough for me to read them also. SOmething about being unable to uninstall a RIM tunnel BUGZ program!!
