Over on BlackBerryItalia.it, there is a poster in the forums who is a developer of BlackBerry apps and has a pretty good reputation when it comes to leaks. In the past, he was one of the first to post images of the Z10 (see RIMs first BlackBerry 10 smartphone revealed in photos and on video | BGR). Anyway, he just posted an image of BBM running on what appears to be the Galaxy S4. Not to much to see as it appears to look identical to version on BB10.

If that's definitely it, then it's looking good so far.

I don't know, I'm kind of skeptical. I'd think that BlackBerry would use native Android framework instead of something that looks like it's written using Cascades. It looks kind of like the Z10 version was copied and photoshopped on top of the S4.

Perhaps it is the actual Android version of BBM, in which case it looks quite nice!

They might be directly copying from the Z10 so that BBM can sort of advertise the BB10 experience or flow/feel. Just my thoughts though.

Most probably a fake (just an image of BBM displayed on the S4). Look at the black bars at the top and bottom. More importantly, as someone else already noted, the control panel at the bottom is so BB10ish

Go look again man, GS3 is on the left, Z10 is on the right... GS3 is showing the main folder in BBM while Z10 is showing Channels... which is in official beta right now on the Z10

Looks like a port of BBM to android but they did make that very easy to do now with the new supported programming languages in BB10

    Edit: GS3 shown not GS4

Yep that's what I've hoped for since announcing it, the best way to give people a taste of BB10

I'm calling shenanigans on the pic.

Note the lack of Notification/Status bar on the GS3. If the BBM app were designed to be full screen (which would indirectly hide the status bar), then the BBM app would stretch to the top of the screen/display. There's too much unused screen/display at both the top and bottom.

This pic shows where the top an bottom of the display are supposed to be...

would the swipe gestures work? going in and out of convos by swiping sideways?

not sure if tat would work, or if it interferes with current android/ios coding
