Sounds like Bold is the right choice for you since ATT has better reception in your area. I think both are great phones and BBs but my choice was made based on my carrier, if I was an ATT subscriber I would have happily gone Bold. I'm very happy with my Storm, even with it's issues.

EDIT: ATT wisely choose to hold back the Bold till the OS had been improved, VZW not so wisely (I'm being polite) choose to release the phone before the software was ready. It should NEVER have been released with .65, with .75 MAYBE, but the phone release probably should have been pushed back to whatever their next version will be (I'm on leaked .85 which I like).
