Runcible circular phone is a quirky and delightful pocket watch
BARCELONA Just when we thought smartphones were losing creativity, a small circular device the size of a pocket watch has the potential to be one of the most innovative gadgets we've seen in quite awhile.

    I'm sick of huge phones!!-img_20150305_095410.png

Plastic, no class, Huge, look at this cool idea. If this has bbm I'm sold. If this was a berry I would own it already

Different strokes for different folks. Size matters: Phones as big as they can get for easy use Big is not very much better for me but some size like the Z30 works just fine.

I don't like the pocket carry. So I holdser. I honestly don't know how people carry the larger phones.
This is Sexy tho. Wood, trim, nice.

How do you carry it? Purse?

See I'm a mechanic at a large site. Holdser is my only option.

There has always been the discussion about are cellphones safe on person already.

It's all about the girth people :P Jk. That is a neat looking device... in terms of how big though I think phones should technically fit in someone's pocket, especially for non business (yet) work dudes who don't carry a purse around or wear baggy pants. Haha

I'm a tiny female and I carry my Note 4 in my pants pocket. I wear slim men's jeans, though.

It's not the size, it's what you do with it.

My Z10 is as good as any Z30

I have to say that I definitely preferred my Z10 to my wife's Samsung Note. I seem to be in the minority for liking the smaller size. I have the Classic now which is also reasonable.

Passport is just right. I carry it like one of those old-fashioned passport-size notebooks, with a case that opens and closes like a book... :-)

Q10 though is much more pocketable.

  "Oh Classic, you are the fairest here so true. But Passport is a thousand times more powerful than you..." (no offense, Classic is a great device, when it's charged)  

I prefer the size of the Z10, Q10 and Classic too. I am quite active and need something compact to carry while walking my dog, wear in my cycling back pocket gear, fit in the holder in my bicycle, carry in my front jeans pocket which is not deep and the smaller phones just works better too for my smaller hands.

Hook it to a gold chain and to your pants or sports coat, of course. It's a pocket watch.

Or a gold chain around your neck like Flavor Flav.

I think having a variety of choices is best. Leaves something for everyone. The large phones have their uses.

I read about the Runcible though and I'm dying to see it in action outside of that demo. It looks fantastic. And the more innovative ideas these companies try the better for all of us.
